Description

Blackies (Black & White Stationery) was a corner store run by Joseph Lew and his family. It had its beginnings in the old Jewish neighbourhood at Bernard/Clark and moved to Snowdon in 1950. Stores like this don't really exist anymore, at least not in Montreal. This is a brief memoir of a cluttered utopia.
